Nilfisk Announces Acquisition

1 May 2015 Nilfisk Recently completed the acquisition of Smithson Equipment, a Queensland based cleaning equipment distributor located in the Brisbane suburb of Tingalpa.

Smithson Equipment offers sales, service and hire of new and used cleaning equipment – specializing in industrial sweepers, scrubbers, pressure cleaners and vacuums. The acquisition combines the strengths of Nilfisk and Smithson Equipment, by leveraging Nilfisk’s global network and resources and Smithson Equipment’s local industry expertise to deliver on cleaning equipment, parts and service to customers. Nilfisk will continue to provide quality Nilfisk equipment to customers as well as continue to provide a service offering on all brands of cleaning equipment

Smithson Equipment’s team has done an excellent job of building a successful operation that provides premium service to a loyal customer base in QLD. The acquisition has taken effect on 1^st of May 2015.
